I thought would be fun to see what everyone else was using. I just tried waxing my current boat for the first time. It had a little light oxidation in the parts of the boat that get the most sun (brow and toe rails mostly), but nothing crazy. I tried three different waxes (2 of which I already had on hand). The worst was Attwood Cleaner wax. It was way too thin and didn't seem to create much shine. Middle of the road was Meguiar Flagship Premium Cleaner/Wax. It has just enough compound in it to cut light oxidation and created a pretty good shine. It also is thick enough to cling to the surface decently. It would probably best be used on a boat that gets quarterly wax jobs.

The best, by a long shot, was 3M Marine One-Step Cleaner Wax. It was the thickest of the 3 I tried, and seem to have the most aggressive compound in it. It also left the best shine. It took much less time to get a better result and it comes off easily. This will be my go-to wax from now on.

I used a cheap ass variable speed polisher I bought 10-years ago from Harbor Freight to work all 3 in. I equipped it with an American made foam finishing pad from HF as well. They cost about $9 each.
As a bonus, if you have some scuffs or rub marks 3M Marine One-Step Restorer Wax does an excellent job removing them. I use it a lot to remove scuff marks from the shore power cable. The compound in it fairly aggressive, so I typically just apply and work it with a mircofiber towel. I always keep a small bottle of it on the boat.
