Bone stock 01 Lightning track times (Imperssive)

Took my Bone stock 01 Lightning to the track last Sunday. My wife ran the Lightning & I raced my 03 Cobra. Truck is Bone Stock with a factory replacement K&N air filter & Nitto 555 street tires. The times the truck laid down shocked the hell out of me. Truck made a best pass of 13.35 @ 101 with a 1.97 60 ft.... What is everyone else running in their stock Lightnings? The 03 Cobra laid down a best of 11.26 @ 125.9 mph with a 1.81 60 ft with drag radials...

I ran very similar times with my 01 L when I got it back in 2005, had 70K in the clock. I think it was a 13.30@101 with a 1.97 as well

I want to say the average is around a high 13. It the temps there were nice and cool, that might have helped too.

nice..I ran 13.4 @ 101 with 1.9 sixty when I was bone stock.

I am sure the weather helped. I am impressed with the ole truck. A few mods & it will be running 12's....

i have an 02 with the exact same minor mods(drop in k&n and 555s). Good to have a reference, thanks. now i'm not as surprised that i'm spanking WRXs and a few 5.0s.

I know the 5.0's here are running low to mid 13's, can't launch though, new at it i guess. Few mods and a good driver and 5.0's are easy 12's too. With my L, A few mods, ported eaton and even with a 2.0 60' on stockers made high 12's easy.
