Boost Gauge ?

Just bought a lightning and want to put in a new boost gauge. Does any one know if it has to be electronic or can it be a mechanical? Thanks

Either will work they just hook up different and mechanical is cheaper/easier and reads the same

Mechanical vacuum/boost gauge but any gauges that measure fluids and that you want mounted in the cab (i.e. fuel pressure, oil pressure, etc.) should be electric in the name of safety.
