I am the one who owned the Red 93 with the yellow scallops, I sold it a month ago and have since told myself I wanted another 93 someday but i didnt think it would come this fast and for such a amazing price. Strolling Craigslist yesterday morning i noticed an ad for a 93 Mustang in my local town for sale. I called the guy and it ended up being a 93 Cobra#3083,this is how the story goes he bought it from the original owner back in 1998 with 12k on it and drove it on and off for a few years and left it in garage for the last 7 or 8 years in Illinois. 8 months ago he moved to Seattle and trailered it out here to be with his gf. The car was absoulety perfect according to him intil he moved out here to his Gf apartment and got a few door dings, (ahhhh no respect). Its number #3083 carfaxed checked out perfectly all the Vin stickers are there everything works as it should. When he bought the car he thought it would be a good idea to put 3 8inch subwoofers in the back and put a Alpine deck in it, luckily he kept the stock speakers and stock cd player(which i got). The car is almost perfect minus a few small imperfections in the paint from sitting outside. Long story short I bought the car but dont want to piss anyone off by telling the price because i got the deal off a lifetime. Here are some pics after i got the 6 inches of dust off it last night, please bear with me work has been very busy lately and I havent had time to detail the interior remember this has been in storage for about 7 years.
There will be more to come!!!!

Nice cobra.... that carpet could look new with about 30 minutes of steam vac. work and the leather new with a easly cleaning & conditioner.

Please do tell what you gave for it... No one will be mad, jealous most likely, but in the end will be happy that an enthusiast found it instead of some punk kid/idiot that would have beat it to death.

Congrats on the find.... maybe I'll get lucky like that one day.

I'll go against the grain and say keep it. Sure you could make $10K now but you'll have to easily spend that if not more to get the equivalent car in a few years. My view is that you will make $10K of profit if you never intend to replace it. However, if you intend to buy a cobra at some point in the future then it will likely end up costing you more than your $5K down + $10K profit. Therefore, todays profit is out the window. Not to mention, if you don't sell now then you can also have a cobra without any interruption.

he needed cash bad and also had no idea what it was, he told me that the only other 93 cobra he had seen was a white one?> hahaha. I might keep it or sell it for help on the downpayment on my first house. This would look nice next to my 99 cobra, 94 gt in my 3 bay garage?

Keep it. You would regret selling it. 5k is unheard of for a 93 Cobra unless its a absolute P.O.S, I thought I stole my 88 Gt. paid 2k for it and its real clean.
