Beautiful Fox.Just picked up an 89' GT
Car is pretty decent. Actually a one owner car. I had sold the owner a GT new in 87' and he totaled it. He was in the service and living in Arizona when that happended so he bought the replacement (this car) there. Good thing is this car didn't see any PA winters for the first 7 years. So it doesn't appear to have any rust on it.
Bone stock
138k miles
Has been repainted the original factory color once.
The left side drivers seat side bolster on the seat back is torn. Anyone know if the original seat material is available so I could get that repaired?
Here is a picture from a year ago when he had it detailed last. Its been sitting for most of the year so it needs a good detailing again.

That truly is awesome. I bought my first 91 GT back in 97'. Back then I'd never consider buying a coupe either.Man I'd love to have a coupe! Just can't see paying the price for what they're bringing right now.
I have been selling Ford's now since 1986. So I was selling these cars new back in the day. Nobody wanted Mustang coupes when they were new. Everyone wanted the hatch back cars. Now a clean low mileage coupe brings similar money to a comparable condition and mileage Cobra.
One company makes the one

So actually I was incorrect about where this car came from. The father of the guy I bought the car from is also a customer of mine and currently has a new truck on order. He stopped in yesterday checking on his truck and I asked him more about the Mustang. This car was bought here at the store I work at. Unfortunately we purged all of the records that were that old so I can't pull any of the original paperwork from the deal. I also hate to say it but I can't remember if I sold him this car or not.
I ordered some of the interior pieces from CJ Pony Parts that needed repaired or replaced. So far I've replaced the drivers door weather stripping, the black plastic trim pieces around the interior door release handles and went to install the new ash tray lid. The new lid doesn't match the original lid and console color. Our body shop has interior paint so they're going match the new lid up for me. I got the complete weather stripping package so as I have time I'll replace the rest of them. Got a new ash trade, old one was all rusty on the bottom.
Found a BBK off road H-pipe on Craigslist that I picked up for $75 and I have the FM American Thunder 40 series cat back on order. The clutch is slipping in the car so once the rest of the exhaust is here I'll pull the trans and put in a new clutch, throw out bearing, pilot bearing and pinion seal. Hopefully next weekend.
Any suggestion on the best trans fluid to run in the T-5? I've read a few threads and people seem to be all over the place with sugggestions.
