Not compatible. Youll find that the 2008 caliper is too small to fit the 15" rotor. Also, the 2008 pad is only going to fit the 4 piston caliper; its about 2 inches shorter than the 6 piston pad.

You will want to have the rotors machined as well before installing the 6 pot calipers and pads.

Makes sense about the caliper and brakes. The bad thing is since I'm currently living in Germany auto shops here don't machine rotors. What to do what to do

If you're in the military, just go to the base auto craft shop and have them machined. They typically have a brake lathe in-house.

Are the backing plates needed? Do they actually help in the cooling as it mentions in the link?
