Just saw this movie recently and it is very good. Don Johnson is also in it. Vince is a great actor and plays gritty roles very well. He really should do more fighting movies. Some crazy scenes in this movie. Check it out on Amazon Prime you won't be disappointed!

I've got Prime so I'll check this one out. The trailer didn't spur a lot of excitement, but hey, it's a free movie so why not. Thanks for the heads up, @quad.

You're welcome Bob. The trailer does not show any real fight scenes which is actually a good thing because so many trailers give away too much. There are videos of the fight scenes on youtube but I'd rather not post them and spoil it for those still planning on watching it. As Sonic605HP said it's a gratifying revenge movie like Taken with Liam Neeson only more gritty, gruesome and gory. I enjoyed it!

I have trouble seeing him as anything other than the quick talking smart ass he plays in 99% of his movies. He does it well.

if you guys enjoyed that movie check out Dragged Across Concrete, its the same Director starring Vince Vaughn and Mel Gibson, its also really good

Same Director also did another movie called Bone Tomahawk starring Kurt Russell that I also thought was pretty good...

He's a great actor, better husband, and noted lover of Israelis.

Vaughn was in Psycho (1998) with Anne Heche and played an asshole / creep in Domestic Disturbance (2001) with John Travolta. Don't forget he was also in Hacksaw Ridge. I have not seen his True Detective shows yet. Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey were great in those! I think these serious roles suits Vaughn better than comedy. I really don't see Will Ferrell pulling it off though ;)

Thanks for the reminder that is on my watch list! Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn together should be interesting!

A buddy of mine's wife was in the same school as Vaughn - Lake Forest High School in Lake forest north of Chicago. She told us he was an asshole as I recall but maybe that was just her experience.

I thought I had seen every movie on Amazon Prime and then noticed this one a month or so ago. Right off the bat I was intrigued at how eerie Vaughn came across. I knew the plot would be somewhat predictable (and it was) but was willing to go along for the ride if anything, to see how Vince played this one.

Holy **** this movie was brutally violent. They went out of their way to showcase it. I may have cringed at times but never did I look away and I definitely found myself rooting for Vaughn to bring the hurt.

Not sure if I understand why he did this movie as it is the complete opposite of any comedy he's ever done. Then again, that was probably the intent.
