Broken Throttle Body Bolt....

Hey guys,

Well I took off my filter, boot, etc... I just finished cleaning my stock throttle body and then I told by buddy to tighten down the bolts and of course he tightened the first one way to tight. He broke the bolt in half!!........ So now I cant get the other half of the bolt out. It is stuck in there..... If your looking at the front of the TB its the bottom left....

Please Help!!!

First try a very small punch and hammer and try and turn it. If that doesn't work. Center punch the center of the broken bolt, drill it and use an easy out.

you try a vise grip? and while your buddy taps (LIGHTLY) the intake around the bolt you turn it

Take a drill, drill a small hole in the bolt about an 1/8 in. deep and hammer a star bit into it and turn it out. Thats what my brother does while changing the headers on the super duty's, they're notoriousfor snapping header bolts in the block
