Any NASCAR fans this will hit hard. I enjoyed hearing him call races and really enjoyed hearing him on his Sirius show.

Crazy how fast he went downhill. He just resigned in early July IIRC saying he had inoperable lung cancer.

RIP...first driver to go 200mph.

I grew up listening to him and Ned Jarret covering the races. Very sad. Still miss Benny Parsons as well.
