buddys ford GT is getting the first ever upgraded 3.3 whipple!!!!

well, its a done deal, my buddy with his unbeaten GT here in jacksonville florida, has went through with it and purchased the proto-type whipple 3.3 upgrade for his 05' GT...he will be the first one in the USA to have one....whipple is sending him a 25lb setup with it, and are claiming 700 to the wheels on pump gas!!!!, my buddy is way crazy and will not stop there! he plans to run a race gas setting plus a 50 shot!!!! looking to make somwhere close to 800 at the wheel! i will keep everyone updated just though i would share the badass news!!!!!!!!!!

whipple says it will be 2 weeks, until they get it out to us, but for sure there will be a huge post on the new numbers! im sure all over whipple's webiste!!!

That's a big blower, should be interesting, forget the spray IMO. Also, regardless of the form of power adder used, 700rw is a lot of power for 93 octane. If he wants to keep it together for a decent amount of time, mix in some 100/104.

UPDATE: we just installed a dry 30 shot on the car yesterday and netted 728rwhp and 719rwtq.. on 100 octane..the whipple will be here friday woo hooo

+1 on that. A 3.3 would probably make more than the Cobra's on the GT 5.4 engine especially torque numbers.
