I think his best run was 11.5 not bad for being his first time at the track. The new C7Z should be running very deep in the 11s stock.

The Hellcat is slower in the quarter mile.

Maybe. Maybe not. It's close enough IMO to be a driver's race.

Hellcat 1/4 mile from Chrysler. 10.85 @ 126.18 mph on street-legal drag radials. 11.2 @ 125 on the stock rubber.
A C7 Z06 equipped with the Z07 Performance package and an automatic ran the 1/4 in 11.1 @ 127 mph. Don't know what rubber was used. If it was factory rubber, it bested the Hellcat. M/T got 11.5 @ 126.

Both cars are beasts. I'd be very happy with either one. :)

I've seen this particular video before. Yeah, driver error.
