CAI need a tune ?

My car is stock 2011 gt500 and i just installed a steeda 114m CAI. Do I need to get it tuned now ? Do some CAI require tunes now-a-days ?

That's the same size as the stock tube, so probably not. A larger tube will require a tune. Surely, Steeda would state if you needed a tune with this intake if one was required.

No. Steeda's CAI is the same size. Its like putting on a resonator delete tube.

why replace the stock intake with one the same size?

stock intake I thought was 113m and the steeda is 114m.. I know thats not much, but I swapped it for straight intake tube and its carbon fiber, which just looks cool. Ill upgrade to bigger CAI down the road if I need.
The reason I asked is because steeda says I do, however its almost same size as stock. Ill probably do the pulley swap then retune next. Just didnt want to hurt anything till I do
