First, Welcome to the site.
Second, That is a common mod many new owners do. Basically a waste of the $40 for the drop in K&N. Get a good CAI like an FIPK if you want to do the job right and do it only once.

Thanks Kimble. This is a very common mod for the uninformed. Spend a bit of time here and you'll find all the best mods and ways to make optimum power. That mod is really a waste of time unless you want to keep your ride as stock as possible, or to look 100% stock. But an aftermarket intake (Steeda, K&N FIPK, JTL, etc.).

worked nice for me...
put a real CAI or open filter on there and you'll be even more amazed.

These guys are just saying since $40 was spent you could spend twice that and get twice (or more) power.
