Im thinking about getting a new catback when I have my new mods done to my car, either slp x pipe(like the idea of takin cats off&on) or a mac h pipe, ill prop go with mac headers. But which catback would you choose I heard good reviews on the magnaflow magnapacks but the ones I always heard seemed too quiet for me. Mac seems to be good and bassani doesnt seem loud to me either. I would really like a borla catback but good luck on findin them for a 97. I have flowmaster 40 mufflers on it now some inputs please guys!.

well I can tell you that my bassani o/r X pipe and catback is LOUD. So if that isnt loud enough then go SLP. Here is a clip of my exhaust. Crappy quality but its loud.

SLP Loudmouth I or II catbacks are the best quality, best sounding catbacks -- I've ever personally installed. And I'll dealt directly with Magnaflow, Flowmaster, and some other popular brands.

There is another short crappy quality video I took. These videos do not do it justice. It is really, really loud. I dunno what type of bassani mufflers they are but it screams esp at WOT. Ill try to get a video of that soon.

Check the stickied exhaust thread, there are tons of videos in there that will help you make your decision.
