Cell phone telemarketers

Do you all get cell phone telemarketers? I just started getting them and the only place my cell phone number is listed is(was) on craigslist. I just got one yesterday wanting to help me sell my car, my car is NOT for sale. This was actually the first call I have had to my cell phone that was a telemarketer. I do have a motorcycle for sale on Craigslist, I guess they could have got my cellphone number there.

Just buy a prepaid if you do that a lot.

I have a home phone (land line) and thats the number I give out to everyone, that being said I have never answered that phone. That being said I do have a cell phone to call people that I actually want to talk to.

dude, why would you post your number on CL???

just tell those interested to contact you...thats why there is a link at the top of your ad....
then email them with your cell number if they seem legit.

well from what ive heard, is that all cell phone numbers were released out to telemarketers and shit....not sure if thats true

I get those calls from time to time on my work mobile. Apparently my "warranty will be expiring soon"...

The only one I get is the, "Your factory warranty is about to expire."

I can't stand it. My cell number I use is for work, so I haven't given it to anyone but customers.

It happens occasionally to me. I usually have fun with it and get quite profane in order to discourage future calls. Supposedly, if you say the words "please remove me from your call list", they're required by law to not call you again.
