Centrifugal guys with a torque converter, what stall speed are you running?

Like the title says I'm looking to upgrade to a Circle D torque converter, but am not sure what stall speed to go with. I emailed circle D and they said a 3C would be a good option. My car is mostly street driven with the occasional trip to the drag strip so I would prefer better drive-ability over max performance at the track. I was thinking of a 2C or 3C, Also anyone know what the stock 6r80 converter's stall speed is?

Yea I actually found a 6R80 specification manual online and found that. It specifies for the mustang GT it is between 2400-2700. Seems like a 3C (which is 3500 to 3700) would be the way to go since centrifugal blowers start making boost at about 3500 rpm or so.

Circle D recommended a 4C to me, for the record. Running a Procharger at 7.5 psi. My torque curve begins to flatten out betweem 3500 and 4000 rpm. I am going with the 4C, as it is rated as 3600-3700 rpm. I am actually tempted to try the 5c tbh, as my car made peak torque at 5400 rpm, but I think I would overwhelm my tires.

3C is what i would go with....I had a 2c in my 2014 and it was great, have a 3C in my S550 and I like it a bit better....both drive great on the street imo....but after having both id choose a 3C with a centri.

i did it all at once so i have no before and after...however i believe my car has the stock halfshaft record or is close to it with a 1.33 60'......and that was in a full weight 4000lb+ with driver 2015 a JT non Billet Vortech, No Lower OD and only a 3.48" pulley...

you will go atleast 2 tenths faster with a converter as opposed to no converter imo....

My car does a 1.95 60' right now without traction issues, and does 126 out the back. Just leaving with no boost then picking up down the track. Even a 1.5 60' would be a huge gain for me.
