so i changed my plugs yesterday, and when i pulled this plug out (back cyl on pass side) i was a little concerned. i know the car is running rich (factory tune and boost). i am getting the car tuned on monday.

anyway, what does it look like is going on with this plug

warranty lapsed (time). i am more concerned about what looks like corrosion around the threads of the plug

Engine got washed at some point and water got under the coil covers and sat in that plug well for a while.

The rest of the plug although very blurry does not look that bad.

You said "changed spark plugs... little help", little help with what?

What are your symptoms?

That plug does not look like it is running rich to me.

How do you know it is running rich?
Did you data log it?
Have a raw fuel smell and poor idle?

What is this car doing wrong?

there is zero wrong with the car. runs like a top. i changed my plugs before upping my boost. I am putting a new upper and getting the car tuned on monday. when removed this plug looked different from all the others, and i was asking for help as to a possible cause.

I think jimmysidecarr is right about the plug getting water. Is that plug one of the back ones they if so they are more prone to getting wet.

OK good. Yep looks like it got wet once.
You can also clearly see how few threads of engagement these early cars had, so be careful.
