The little man took his last round of chemo like a champ, he ran a small fever for 24 hours while we are home in Charlotte but nothing crazy. The best thing is, his hair has stayed through this round, seems like he is going to be a little blonde kid with green and blue eyes, along with his natural tan from his Spanish side.

He will be flying out to Memphis this coming Monday for his eye exam and to see if that last tumor has died. Hopefully we get some awesome news and he will be cancer free. He should be having his port removed within the next couple of weeks.

We actually got to take him to a birthday over the weekend, it felt kinda weird being able to let him run around and not worry about him getting sick, but it’s something we look forward to. He had a blast.

Couple of pics of him and his Rotty. The dog is getting pretty big.

Anthony and his mom flew back to Memphis on Monday. Yesterday they had his No More Chemo party and checked out his hearing, everything came back perfect. I got a call around 10am this morning from his mom after his eye exam, and she let me know that Anthony is Cancer FREE. It's all dead, no more living cells. It took me a couple of minutes to comprehend what she said as I was still half a sleep, but man it's a great feeling.

He has come so far and has inspired me. The little guy fought through all his treatment with fevers, a heart attack, high blood pressure, vomiting, losing his hair, and the awful rashes. He comes home tonight, and will not have to go back until the 26th of September for another eye exam to make sure nothing has popped back up.

I can't thank everyone enough who have kept him in their thoughts and prayers, and who have kept up with his page along the way. St. Jude is a amazing place, they did everything they could to make sure he would get through this. It seems like everything happened so fast, getting diagnosed and him flying out, to his first treatment and than half way through his rounds of chemo, to cancer free.

I will continue to update this as much as possible about his recovery and progress, he will have some speech therapy soon, he is a little behind but nothing to really be worried about, they said it's mostly due to the chemo and being under anesthesia, he has been put under around 30 times.

Here is a video and some pictures of his No more chemo party and some of him and his eye surgeon Dr. Wilson and nurse Lisa.

It’s a great feeling, the little man is feeling better running around. He will have his port taken out by the 24th of September, they are trying to schedule it.

We finally got the date his port will be removed. He will be having surgery on the 19th of this month early morning, he is doing great, running around and being a menace. Is starting to talk a little now and understanding what we say to him.
This last month has really been bitter sweet, Anthony is cancer free, but my mom ended up going to the emergency room due to her heart beat going up and down, they ran some tests and everything came back fine, but they also ran a cat scan and found 2 spots on her lungs, now we don't know if they are cancerous at this point, but my mom did have cancer back in 2014 and beat it once, I am hoping if it is she will be able to beat it again. She has a biopsy scheduled in the next 2 weeks to find out what it is. I am praying it's nothing.

Sorry, I have not updated in a while, I have been working non stop and have been taking my mom to her Dr. Appointments. We found out she has cancer and will be seeing her Oncologist on the 20th of this month.

Anthony is doing great, he had 2 spots in the right eye try to regrow in November, so they gave him a little Cryo and laser treatment. The December scans showed the spots are gone and he is cancer free at the moment. He has a full head of hair, and has started to talk, he dances all the time and loves to eat, he loves a piece of bacon, sausage and pepperoni pizza, and he has finally started to drink juice. For the longest time all he wanted was his milk and pediasure, but he will kill a box of apple juice or fruit punch now. Our family is excited to have him home for the holidays in good health, we have been taking him every where we go since he has not been on chemo since August. I appreciate everything, everyone and all the thoughts and prayers from you guys and the countless others. We also found out he does not like Santa Claus. Haha.
