if a friend has a chip burned to his mods and he sells the car and you get all the mods from his car, can you use his chip??? He has a first run cobra and I have a second run that is the only difference. So, can I use his chip on my car???

I have heard you have to have same eec code its on the pass door like mine reads YDH1 small sticker.
As long as your Cobra has the same mods as his then you should be able to use his chip. I was going to replace my Diablo chip with an Autologic (dyno tune) and was told it is very common for folks to sell their old chip.
