gto is strong...the L is strong from a 30 roll,,,but none of the other races it seems

Yeah that 40 roll was just awful for the L, every other spot it pulled damn hard.
he was on dr's we were on street tires. we both spun pretty bad from a dig, good runs for sure.
It was awful cause you could tell he wasn't break boosting at all
+1 once he got the boost going it seemed to pull on the gto everytime
both are sick rides though. those turbos sound awesome on the L
4L60E?? is a weak GM trany..
i second that maybe he meant Built 4r70W its got a better 1st and 2nd than the 4r100 and weighs 150lbs less and has 5% less power loss to the wheels. the 4l60E the gear ratios are pretty far apart.1st 3.059, 2nd 1.625, 3rd 1.000, 4th .0696
1st is nice but 2nd is a bit steep
yea. the lightning is on pump gas and running lower boost, it has the ford gt block with heads and the twin precision 72s, intercooled, with a fuel cell and on that 4l80e. i think on this tune its over 600 wheel. it goes in for the race gas high boost tune next week, should be crazy numbers. He break boosted Every run, and the gto was running great, just was running out of nitrous in the late 5th and sixth runs.

It was a Hughes built 4L80E GM Trans. The Lightning owner told me himself. He said it was a very tight converter as well.

watch again. pay attention to the wheels, theres sparks f uckin flyin everywhere, guy.
the converter is too tight and wont let the truck spool.
its a 4L80E.
