Any idea what year this would have been in? Would they fit in my 98 cobra convertible?

Looks like reupholstered 11-14 but not 100% sure. You’re going to need to fab some brackets for it to work + re wiring. I know that later versions won’t work size wise out of the box persay without some heavy modifications. @mwolson did a great write up here: S-197 seats for my SN-95 Cobra

Exactly ^^^. It's definitely the 11-14, because S550+ has a different core structure for the GT350's and the GT500's as well as different upholstery with the added airbags.

It's neat upholstery though if you're looking for something different.

The info. Yes they do look good. I think they will look great in my 98 convertible if I can get them to fit and wire up. I am going for the Speedster look. So the back seats are fine.

I've read that S550 seats will fit in Fox body Mustangs with very minimal fabrication work done, I'm sure that is the same case for the SN95 platform. I plan on putting some S550 cloth seats in my 93 Cobra when I get the time and source some good seats

Yes I've seen it done a few times. There's a few over on another forum that run them.
