Wow that's crazy. Almost looks like CGI. Also wild how some homes did not burn, particularly the area were one home is left standing, almost untouched and all the other homes around it burned to the ground. Wonder what saved it from destruction?
That is so horrific and sad. Surreal. Watch that video made me think about the Great Chicago Fire where about 300 people died. It destroyed 3.3 square miles of Chicago, burned down over 17,000 structures, and left more than 100,000 Chicago residents homeless.
I was playing golf about 20-25 miles south east or so from there. It was crazy how fast it started and tore through the neighborhoods. I don't even think an hour passed that our phones got news notifications for evacuations in Boulder county and such. Winds were gusting about 60 where we were, around that area I believe it hit 110-115
