Converter or Gears

I think I will do the gears first with a tune, Who has the best tune for the automatic? I am looking for proven results on a 1/4 mile. Tell me what you think.

i have used 2 companys for tunes.... bbr and amazon.... both are great and have great customer service but bbr just couldnt get my WOT shifting the way i wanted.Amazon did a great job with my tune... plus i picked up 2 mpg and .1 at the drag strip. Rick at amazon did a great job.

Gears. Then when you get you convertor you get it to match the gears you already have.
