All that being said, the vents at the front 1/2 to maybe 2/3's of the hood (as 03-04 Cobras are )are in a low pressure (high air speed) area. That is the reason they taper low in front to high in back (reverse NACA duct). They will draw heat out of the engine bay and through the radiator. The closer they are to the radiator is even mo better.

I would love to put one of these tiger racing hoods on to really lower the behind rad air pressure, BUT I don't know if it would clear my pulley and supercharger, AND even the fiberglass version is $599.00!

I know it would help A LOT but I just don't have the scratch right now. Motels, tires, pads, fuel, trailer rental, event fees = my track account is in recovery mode right now.

Yeah... ok I have a Torsen TR2 31 spline ordered from MM as well now and everything should be here on Friday. Thanks for the info.

u dont need a cooler on your solid axle.
