I hate saying this but a white woman cop killed a black man in Texas and they fact they are defending her surprises you? Brother I got stories that will blow you mind then from my time at the gray bar hotel.

I’m pro Leo and regularly talk to and go hang out with one, but that whole situation was ****ed from the get go and they went way easier on her than if it had been the other way around.

This is all my opinion and take it with a grain of salt, but i saw more than one dirty cop locked up and with less time than what a regular person would have gotten

What they (or at least specifically the SGT) have done far surpasses any kind of defense as it has evolved into excusing her actions and that is reprehensible to the highest degree.

Having compassion/empathy for people is never a bad thing. Even when they are in the wrong, and you see their pain as judgement comes. Both the judge and the brother understand that.

Locally, a fellow shot and killed two people in a bank a few years back. He was African American. They sentenced him to death. Clear intent, clear disposal of life, clear as day why. But the death of two only ends in more death, this mans life.

It's unfortunate that situations like these happen, and really all we can do is stand back and just watch lives go to waste. You can't undo it, and you can't forgive it all/move on without justice. She needs to pay for what she did, and she will. Intent or not, that man did not deserve to die.

I agree with you. The judicial system is a straight joke. All the judges, D.A.’s and lawyers are in bed with each other and that’s a fact. As a regular person you better be able to afford someone good or you’re screwed.

She's white, and a cop. The crime happened in Texas and the victim was black.

No way I'm hugging it out with someone who killed my brother. Ain't no damn way bruh.
The judge rubbing her hair, the father wanting to be friends, smh.
    Shit seems weird to me.

Everybody has different ways to get closure.

Carrying hate and anger for the rest of your life won't do you any favors. That's how daughters dance on poles.

I agree, IronSnake. Some can't understand the power of forgiveness. Forgiveness can be very hard to give, but can be easily withheld. Like you said, holding tight to hate and anger doesn't do you any favors; it can ruin your life and the lives of others. That man's brother has learned about, and experienced, the power of forgiveness...at an early age.

I see it as an incompetent person that shouldn’t have had a gun. At no point did she use any skills that she learned as a police officer. She went straight to deadly force on a person that showed little to no threat. I’m betting that it was just a matter of time before this officer hurt or killed someone. I can also understand and respect that you couldn’t forgive her for her actions. I would have a hard time with that. It was heartwarming to see the victim’s brother forgive.

Dude from what Ive seen and Ive been in that area plenty. Black women Leos are few and far in between, but being a women on trial in Texas her sentence would have been less than a man having done the same thing.

That is a proven fact down here that women get lighter sentences than men who commit the same crimes.

And....... so because he was black he didn't deserve to die like any other dangerous animal who kills innocent ppl so he can get high on dope smh. I really hope ur not serious with that. And it wasn't the death of "Two". It was the death of "Two INNOCENT ppl". Maybe u dont see the distinction as a liberal snowflake but I sure do!

Ummmm yea it will. Carrying hate for someone who murdered a love one of mine will feel great and I hope they die a slow and painful death! Its liberal snowflakes like u that get all "Hillary" when it comes to crime and murders. Oh..... ok she didn't mean to do it. She was mistaken...... yea go with that?

Im betting if she walked in on ur Son, Daughter or ur wife..... and murdered him or her while in their own living room sitting on the ****ing couch u would be singing a different tune.... Or maybe u would just go "Hug her".

    LOL.

I now understand why liberals talk about alt-right whack jobs spinning off into oblivion with rather innocuous statements.

Did I say I would hug her? Or forgive her? Or make her a sandwich? No.. not at all. I said people deal with closure in different ways, and that hate and anger seething inside of you for the rest of your life makes you a shitty person. You have to find closure, otherwise you can't move forward.

You sound like you want to lean her corpse up in the corner of your living room so you can punch her whenever you feel like. You're a psychopath.

I’m still not sure why we talk about color of skin. MLK was fighting against this back in the 60’s it seems we’ve learned nothing from it.

I’m still not sure how she got in, was it unlocked or open door? Regardless soon as she walked in you notice this is not my place. She should have turned to go.

See someone you done expect, I have no problem pulling her legal gun.
No threat, you back out and leave.

If you still think it’s her place he sits down and she calls for backup.

He was not resisting, he was not being arrested, he did nothing wrong, she took his life. Her punishment is so it does not happen again.

The same goes for the LEO that killed the woman/witness who called the cops up north. When you take someone’s life in an avoidable situation you are punished so it does not happen again.

Minneapolis Police Officer Convicted of Murder in Shooting of Australian Woman
    He got 12.5 years.

If I had to guess, people close to her were not too happy about his testimony. More than likely dirty cops or a hit job.
