My current car I bought at 26% off MSRP (admittedly I knew they were turds laying on dealer lots).ass for every seat, my friend.
Dealers are charging these prices because people are paying them, supply / demand.
If they werent selling they wouldnt be asking these prices lolol
Not to totally thread-jack, but is there any special training and investment that had to take place toward your service department with the introduction of a fully electric vehicle in the line-up?
Maybe I’m wrong, but I was thinking Ford only had hybrids up to this point.
Yes, I have a feeling we have reached something I call "Max Dealership". For every action there is an opposite and equal reaction.Get it while you can. Im not mad at these dealers one bit.
These are unpresented times that will only be matched by unprecedented amounts of vehicles sitting on lots with 0 buyers once the supply chain is shored up.
It's not if, but when.
There it is.ass for every seat, my friend.
My dealer (Honda) is still selling at MSRP. But the only negotiating is the add ons tint/wheel locks/PPF etc. there is no car price negotiating.
Bought my wife a loaded pilot in September and couldn’t get an employee discount on a new one. Ended up getting a certified 1 year old 11k mile one for $9k less than a new one cost me. Those deals are hard to come by right now, used vehicles bringing almost new or more than new prices it’s insane
Yeah I’ve been watching the truck market because that’s next on our purchase list is a truck for me. It will be a year or 2 before we pull the trigger I’m hoping the market comes back down on them some.Trucks, especially 3/4-1 tons, are the worst right now. A 2-3 year old one with <60k is bringing what they sold for new three years ago.
There it is.
That's what my dad always said.
There’s a used maverick for sale locally dealer wants 50k for it.
There it is.
That's what my dad always said.
Currently, yes. It's nuts. I could literally pick up the phone and sell all of my new inventory at over MSRP prices to other dealers. I sold a Mustang (I don't like to carry Mustangs December-March) for $1,000 and sold three Rangers for $4500 over MSRP (each).
They'll ask $40-50,000 over
Anybody that pays 50000 over for a bronco should be drug tested.
Insanity.
