That poor poor beautiful car! It's pretty cool how all the fellow competitors came together & split up the winnings & threw Dave a bone. Racers really do look at it like a family affair & they take care of their own.

Wow, the nitrous bottles went off like rockets & the one video shows a broken restraint. Could have gotten hurt worse that reports indicate.

It looks like most of his safety equipment failed, including the bottle brackets. Im shocked that they let him run like that with that fast of a car. Someone did not do the tech inspection correctly.

There's a video of someone walking up to the car and holding his harness, and you can see that the harness tab ripped right of the bar. He was literally unsecured in that car for at least part of that barrel roll. That's why I have wrap arounds!
