The last trick the needle is not passing through the arm but down and around his arm. If you look watch how much of the needle is actually pulled out of his arm versus how much it would of taken to go directly through it you'll see there is a big difference.
They typically use a small tube, some latex and body paint.

Correct. Saw the needle through the arm thing on some sort of magic reveal show. Might have been a Penn and Teller special. Pretty cool how it's done -- and one main reason they go so slowly. One tell in these is the fact that skin would never stretch so much when an object is pulled out or pushed through on the other side.

Still cool to watch, especially the card tricks.
