I have been on this site looking for the OEM 1993 R Strut Tower Brace for some time. I have had no luck in finding one or having someone sell me one. So, I have accepted that the next best option is to duplicate one. Wondering if any 93 R owners or if anyone knows the diameter of the OEM 93 R Strut Tower Brace triangular tubes. Why do you have to have that specific brace? It really doesn't look as sturdy as many of the aftermarket braces, especially since the rear tubes are thinner and the attachment to the firewall is flimsy. The main tube doesn't look to be any larger than an inch...
I have built a 93 R clone and I am trying to keep the vehicle as OEM as possible. So, do any 93 R owners know the diameter of the strut tower brace?
I'll measure later, but i'm pretty sure it's 1" x .083", pretty sure it isn't DOM as well.
