I just got a locking gas cap.

I like the Pro-Fit fuel doors. I was going to get one of their GT40 style, but I couldn't see paying that much. Still looks awesomely cool though.

went with pro-fit fuel door, owner is a really nice guy and can work with you on the price. incredible number of options/colors/textures etc for them.
Solenoid actuators or even fully automatic fuel doors. good stuff.

If you want the best, go with Pro-Fit. They're a bit more money than the competition, but you get what you pay for. They'll also match your paint or you can pick from a whole bunch of finishes.

The locking gas cap from the Crown Vic fits the Mustangs and Cobras perfectly.

That's what I've got on my Cobra. You can get them anywhere.

Stick with the locking gas cap. I've never been a fan of aluminum fuel doors on an otherwise monocromatic car.

Ditto. And if someone really wants to get in, better to have a busted locking cap than a pried open outer door and related damage.

locking gas cap is a pita though, if you go with pro-fit its a very solid
piece and all you do is hit a button to get it open so its really simple at the
pump.

I wouldnt worry about some moron trying to pry it open, its not flimsey
and if you still want the monochromatic look order it in the same color as your car.
