Most of the cobras i've seen, mine too, have the cobra in the grille, but i have seen a few with the pony; did ford make both or is the pony aftermarket?
did all Cobras come with the snake in the grille?

No Cobra came from the factory with the Cobra grill emblem. They all came with a pony. Someone changed them.
Because the snake emblem is so popular it is very possible you might see more Cobras with it than with the stock horse.
The horse looks best! (in the toolbox...)
No cobra emblem came stock in the grill... I like the snake best cause the car is a cobra, but the pony deffentially fits better in the opening
yea true....the snake looks way better...but too small, doesn;t fill it up like the horse does...but oh well:shrug:
pre-1999 Cobra's did have the snake from what I understand.

It used to be a cheap option back in the days, my old 96' came new with one. Of course the dealers could also put them on.:shrug:

I agree. My only problem with the snake is like you said it's too small.
my 97 Cobra, that I bought new had the Pony...
