Diff cover swap out for around $160

Yes. I put the vent on the new cover, and the plug in the axle. The vent is not very long at all, so to be safe I cut the bolt with a hacksaw and cleaned up the threads.

let us know if the vent pukes more or less out of that location. if it's still puking, I highly recommend Alex's breather mod in the how to section.

I'll keep an eye on it. My '68 mustang has a vent hose that's mounted up high under the body...I wonder why/when Ford decided to change this???

Just put down an order for the diff cover, arp bolts, amsoil MTG and diff fluid .
