Looking at rear wheel setup that I can throw on the car and drive to the track on. I'm not worried about rain. If there is even a chance the car doesn't leave the garage. I really want to run the Mt et street 2's but I'm scared the 305/35-19 will rub on the sve drift wheel.(also the rim is a bit narrow.) A 295/45-17 is the ideal height but I'm not sure I can find a rim with the correct offset. Theoretically a taller sidewall is better on the track correct? Or does this not apply to drag radials?

You are correct the bigger the sidewall the better the traction.

if your buying diff wheels anyway get 15s taller side wall is better for bite and also cuts down on drivetrain shock when launching

Hmmm decisions, decisions. I was looking at 15 rims as well but I couldn't find a Mt street et 2. I'm sure now I want to stick with a radial tire for the stability after reading up on it.
