I have a 2.93 pulley tuned by John Lund racing. I have a 2.76 pulley and want to install it. I was wondering if I need to retune it and I asked Lund racing and they said no because
It is already tuned. I just want a second opinion if this is true. I imagined that after 13 pounds of boost that I run currently, when I hit 14 from the 2.76 the PCM would not know exactly how to tackle the new parameters.
Any input would be of help!

Anytime you change boost levels (for example a pulley change) you change air/fuel ratio. At a minimum, I would have your tune checked for piece of mind. I know my tuner charges $50 to check the tune parameters.

Think of it this way if you have to change the tune that would be 300-400 dollars. That is alot less than $4,000+ for a new engine.

Without a re-tune or data logging, how would you know if the 2.76 doesn't puts your MAF or pumps on the edge?
