That wasn't 40'. That was about a car and a half. Nice click bait, though. As to whether or not an '18 could do it, yes. Any car can do it with the right power and mods. I've seen Fox bodies carry the front wheels nearly halfway down the track.

Salty much? There was indeed a Demon (even if it wasn't the one you were hoping for and/or expecting) and it did appear to carry the fronts 40 (or more) feet.

At a typical drag strip the sixty foot mark is shortly after the tree. The Demon carried the fronts, seemingly at least, to the sixty foot mark or better.
