After a few drinks last night friends were saying .. if I did not down shift coming up to traffic light/stop signs I could save up too 20/30 percent of my cultch wear....I know each engagement is wear .. so it must be true..... IS IT TRUE???:beer:

As cool as it sounds with the right exhaust it will definitely wear on your clutch.
I only downshift when I know how fast I'm going to turn (aka which gear to select) or as I slow down. The light goes green so I downshift to accelerate. I don't play with the gears.
If you rev match each downshift the wear on your clutch is negligent. Letting the clutch bring the revs back up will wear it though.
Rev-matching is your friend.
Thanks all .. I do rev match.. Actually i am very good at rev matching.... I tried explaining that last night but no one wanted to listen instead they only wanted to give opinions...... Beer will do that.... thanks again...... :beer:
