I've read a few places people saying they hear the sound difference when they switch to the track mode and according to the Ford brochure's it is indeed supposed to change the sound and throttle response etc. Does anyone know how Ford technically accomplishes this on a car that doesnt have active exhaust like the Vettes? Do you notice the difference?

I dont think I can tell any change honestly...

It may open the sound symposer more or something. There's definitely no change in the exhaust hard parts themselves. Subbed to see if anyone knows.

In track mode, the rpms increase and shift points are raised (for the A6), also the engine braking is crazy good and throttle response is significantly increased. Imo, Ford did a good job with the drive mode tuning. I actually like it better than the track key tune that they sold with the Boss.
