Eaton with Teflon tipped rotors

I asked this in the blower section but should have put this question in here.....

If not, why not Teflon tipped?

The drag boat guys prefer the Roots style blowers over the Whipple style for out of the hole performance. They port them and cool them like we do but also Teflon tip them to prevent heat leaking back and top end poop out.

Anybody?

Our rotors are completely covered in tephlon..... I believe.

The rotors are completly covered when they are new. Wear on the rotors takes off the coating.
