That 2JZ is incredibly well built, that run was at 90 psi boost !

It's his fuel man, it's got a nasty hole. That's why he's unloading in third. Just tune the NOS timer, and he'll run....fives.

I'd do a backflip if my car ran 6.05 in the 1/8, never mind the 1/4, lol. That's impressive!

Not that impressed.

He should swap out that slush box for a manual trans like any self respecting man should do. Shifting your own gears is a lot more fun and faster as anybody can drive an boring auto.

Just kidding. It blows my mind how some/ (come to think about it) most men think.

BigDan, great post bro. I'm sure you know all the fastest cars at the strip are autos. There's a difference between a race car and a fun car.

Jokes on me I didn't scroll down lol

Can it really be called a 2JZ anymore when there's likely not a single stock part left in that engine? I'm sure it's a stout block, but there's no way in hell an engine block designed in the '80s/'90s is going to stand up to 90psi and 2600+HP. Or am I wrong?

Like said below your post it was a stock block that has been filled with concrete, even though it is filled it is still insane to think that it held up to this abuse. For reference, we had to fill a Windsor block with concrete to be able to handle 600 crank horse power, and much above that it would still fail, these guys are making well over 2000 crank horse power, NUTS!
