along time ago my friend had a ford tempo. We considered taking a gas powered leaf blower and running it into the intake.. for an intercooler we planned on piping air conditioned air into it as well ha ha..

It probably would have actually worked if we could have fit the leaf blower under the hood

They just don't put out enough CFM's for the motor over 2k and become a restriction. And also they are lame, but it is a cool concept. There is a video of some guys on a dyno with a leaf blower and made some gains though.
