Is it common to remove that big dampener that hangs from the two forward diff mounting bolts? Don't see it in any of those pictures

Yes, that is just an NVH weight commonly known as ballast. :-D

otherwise known as the dogbone. I know its common to remove them on SRA cars, wasn't sure if it was more important with IRS's.

I just dropped my entire IRS do replace all the bushings. I kept the dampener on. Any issues if I remove it?? I'd have more room for the cat-back!
