NICE !! In for the videos
Interesting, i am running a ATI damper on my car that just got a built motor. So you're saying the stock damper is better as far as not breaking the crank? It's not talked about much...but all crank failures are ATI damper related so far. If you go on 6g the whipple cars are 2x ahead of all other power adders for crank failures. If mine fails, i'll just deal with it.

What I meant was that i'm not going to worry about it as there is really nothing i can do to prevent it. If it happens then yes i will probably shed multiple tears LOL.Nice to Hear about the new set up-(looking forward to seeing it via video ) when you upgraded from the D1 did you use the old bracket or did you have to get all new set up- 12 rib I assume ? And you say you will deal with it if the crank breaks-(you will shed a tear) it isn't a big deal that the crank breaks it is when it takes out both heads , the cams and timing parts, radiator, oil pan etc etc- that gets pricey. (happened to me) That thing is just going to be plain wicked driving it- Assome half mile/mile car(with a rear gear swap)
I want to say that happens because this head unit is making it's way into peak efficiency as my engine rpms are at their peak. The scary thing is...with proper fueling and another drop down in pulley size I feel 1400whp is possible.Awesome! Crazy how the TQ really doesn't change much at all as the HP goes up drastically.
That's exactly why I stuck with a manual transmission and a centrifugal blower. Will it be slow at the track? Yes. Will it also make me happy at a roll racing event or the drag strip? Also, yes.man thats ****ing awesome to see a centri car making that kinda steam
I have 1 7/8" Stainless Works long tubes, 3" x-pipe, and an MBRP 3" cat back. The mid pipe to catback connection necks down to 2.75" though. I think 2" would help out at this power level and possibly lower boost some.Great video- what size headers are you running- if not 2" inch I wonder if the car would of made more at that power level- wonder how long the mufflers are going to last - And just love all the comments listed in the video about a cage- Your an adult if and when you want one you will get one - me personally will never put one in my street car -
Agreed on the 2”, I just saw some 2” primary 3.5” collector ARH for sale cheap at Mod Nats that would’ve rocked on this car, but what he has will work.Great video- what size headers are you running- if not 2" inch I wonder if the car would of made more at that power level- wonder how long the mufflers are going to last - And just love all the comments listed in the video about a cage- Your an adult if and when you want one you will get one - me personally will never put one in my street car -
Thank you!Awesome vid and build!
Must be something about 2011 GTs in that color, they just seem to do work.
Big props on the man trans, my advice is to give up some out of the hole and just concentrate on back halfing it on track. I would also suggest a bias ply.
I run a 315/50/17 radial ET R on street but the 28x12.5 ET R bias on track, easy launching gave a 1.55 but still rolls out down track. I’d expect you’ll see 160mph traps easy if driving and gearing is on point.
You made a solid 1300rwhp on a MT DR, so if parts hold you’ll be happy with track results.
If you need a clutch, hit me up on a triple you’ll like on the street.
Congrats again.

Slawko ported heads, Ferrea valves, Pac springs, ect. assembled by L&M. The intake and exhaust cams are also L&MAwesome numbers. I've been thinking of going procharger again.
Can you give details on headwork? Who ported, what valves and springs etc?
What cams you running?
Thanks
Man, i can only imagine what it's like to drive on the street. I'll be happy when i am able to get my car that now has a built motor and trans tuned in the spring, looking to make 800-850 whp on E85. Just need to install the fore fuel system i just ordered along with some bigger injectors like id1300's.

You will be more than happy with 800-850whp. The car will be a rocket and trap in the mid 140s.
As of right now i've only ran the 19" drag radials on the street and it is flat out scary. Before with my car making 860whp it would hook in 3rd gear with no issues. Now, I can't go WOT in 3rd. Sadly, i'll probably be selling the 19s and leaving it on the Weld's at all times.
