holy shit that was there?! wish I would have known that, that car is a legend
Sure was, I even talked to one of the guys.. said its like 2600#'s.... VERY VERY stripped down from the looks of it.. even the front end is a thin fiberglas piece but looks legit at first glance.. cool dudes
I know you guys have more pics! I feel like i missed out on some cars at the show, with all the rows haha...
Thanks for the compliments, Steve I was hoping to see you at the Show and get some specs on a drag-pack setup.
The AV boys car was dope! Like said earlier, the fiberglass work on the front was done very subtly, got a chance to talk to the driver and some the guys, they were some real cool dudes who didnt mind me poking my head around and looking at the car, thing is forsure a light potato chip.....

WOW. Look how low and far back that motor sits.Years ago i moved mine back but that is low. Im sure there is allot more cool stuff in that car. I would love to be able to look it over.Cool car.
Like I was telling you at the show, I forgot my camera at home. I really wish I wouldn't have. Good seeing you again, and next year I will be back! Its looking like I'm keeping the 85.

My first time going to Fabulous Fords too. Loaded on a trailer in Arizona Friday night before the show
About 10 miles east of Quartzsite i lost a trailer wheel. You can barely see a black patch on the asphalt stripe directly behind the trailer from the tire catching on fire before it jetisoned, bending the fender as it spit out onto the I-10. Good thing i brought tools and a jack. Turned out every lug nut was loose on all four wheels. Thank you Penske truck rental:bash:
Rented a house in Anaheim. Invited some friends down from Lake Tahoe to join me
Went for a cruise down the PCH. Couln't find any good photo ops in Seal Beach
Stopped at Brix on Sunset Beach. They have the best Pastrami sandwich! Awesome covered parking too
Got to Knotts Sunday about an hour before the show started. The line already wrapped around the block.
Once they opened the gates, we were in and parked in 5 minutes
AV Boys parked right next to us. Tony, the owner of the car was cool and told us about the weight they'd shaved off utilizing a titanium core support & titanium fasteners throughout. The front clip/hood was made out of carbon fiber with no radiator
Foxes for days. Super clean '85 suicidekings! Glad you're planning to keep it. We met but i suck at remembering names..

There was so much to look at i'm still on sensory overload. Wish i'd taken more pictures of the other cool cars. Definitely want to go again next year.

It's always better when you have other people you know out there. Im looking forward to next year as well man, we had a real good setup with the cars and tow rigs.

Scott, it was nice meeting you man. I have already begun ordering parts for the 85 so its for sure staying in my possession. Next year it will have a different look, something I haven't seen on any fox yet.
