Anyone here ever experience a bad sensor? My car has been having a strange idle lately and has been dying out after clutching in, I thought it was my tune but it isn't, I have also double and triple checked for vacuum leaks, I sometimes get a CEL P0015 Exhaust B camshaft position timing overretarded Bank 1, as well as P0014 - "B" Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance (Bank 1)
I have gotten this code maybe 5 times now, I never get both at the same time its one or the other. Also my car hesitates on part throttle in low revs, whenever the hesitations get really bad is when the CEL comes on. I attempted to get this fixed at the dealer a long time ago but they said it all checked out fine. I learned to deal with the occasional hesitation, but its getting worse, the wonky idle with stalling is driving me up a wall. NOW my question is which sensor is the CEL referring to and how hard is it to change??
