Anyone here watch Taking Chance? If that movie doesn't make you cry then you don't have a soul.

Roger that! I have a copy over here that I bought from the hadjimart. actually a really good copy excellent film. We had a coworker that was killed recently, and because of the situation, and his bravery, he was given military honors, as far as a flag draped casket and an escort.
As for my films
Great Escape, steve mcqueen on a motorcycle, doesn't get any better lol.
Saving private ryan
Hunt for Red October
Black Hawk Down
Run silent, Run deep
The Fighting Sea Bees- John Wayne
Tora Tora Tora
Guadalcanal
The Kingdom
Hurt Locker, not so much for realism in the bomb sense, but just the feel of the movie and the surroundings. The 50 cal barrett scene is best part of the movie
Battle of the Bulge-don't know if its the correct title, but it had so many stars in it, lost track of all of them.
Valkarye (sp)

Thats about it. I watch a ton of movies over here, not much else to do, workout, eat, watch a movie. lol.

Dude Pearl Harbour was a simply horrible movie.

In present day (ie last 50 years of war history)

Platoon
Full Metal Jacket
Wild Ducks

Throw in M*A*S*H for 200 Alex!

Crimson Tide
Hunt for the Red October
U-571
Das Boot
Master and Commander: Far side of the World
Gladiator
Troy
300
Band of Brothers
Saving Private Ryan
Black Hawk Down
A Few Good Men
Pearl Harbor
Platoon
Glory
The Patriot
Top Gun

just looking at my list, i think im more suited towards a Naval career than Air Force if i were to ever go. Boats n Hoes ftw!

I'll show my ageon this one, Where Eagles Dare, Kelly's Heros. These aren't movies but I liked watching them on TV: Rat Patrol, Combat, and Blacksheep were good shows.
