Love the way this thing looks. Looks like an F-Zero car/hovercraft

Although, I was under the impression that the active rear wing would come up and fill the gap between the two little fixed ones making it look like a F40 style rear wing. I think that'd make it look even better haha

Doesn't Ben have one of these?

Racewife's in yellow? Or am I thinking of a different model of absolutely awesome Ferrari.

In what series would this car even be legal to race? Not even F1 allows active aero, and that's only for a few seconds to make a pass.

It is hard to keep track of :).

Racewife has a yellow LaFerrari (the street version) and will at some point take delivery of a yellow FXX-K (the race version of the LF). That in turn will let her smoke me at the track, where I will still be in our 599XX.

Is that a car they will let you drive at Laguna seca? I want to know how quick it will be there vs a street car.

Yes. My fearless prediction: it will run 1:24s at Laguna.

Ben I drove a 599 a few years back at one of those exotic car events and I loved that car! Smooth powerband excellent brakes all around great car but WAY out of my price range.

The 599GTO remains one of my favorite street cars - it's more powerful and significantly lighter than the 599 HTGE, and it oozes personality and attitude.

The 599XX is just a monster. In a good way. I figure the FXX-K is going to be like the LaFerrari turned up about 15%, but with really sticky tires. Should be madness.

That is possibly the best sound I've ever heard, those downshifts....

Is the P1-GTR competitive with the FXX-K?
