I picked this up on Friday from the second owner. It's an '02 LS V8 with 68000 miles. It's got pretty much every option except for the +/- shifter but that doesn't matter as you can still manually shift up through the gears pretty efficiently. It's even got the factory 17" wheels. :burnout:

The car is a little dirty right now its been raining off and on.

It's already acting like it's got either a fowled spark plug or a coil plug going bad. Which I understand is common with these motors. Figures, being the son of a mechanic nothing automotive is ever simple.

Yeah, they are not bad cars.

Congrats. I had one of those for a weekend rental once and thought it was a very nice car and comfortable as hell

thunderbird had the 3.9L as well. the coils go bad because the valve cover gaskets leak and allow oil into the spark plug jackets. i went ahead and bought all new coils, plugs, and the gaskets and did everything at once. I had a 3.9 LS V8 but its now gone, it had too many problems. mainly i was pissed at the tranny, it had the SST, tho. something was wrong with a solenoid, i can't remember exactly but labor would have been a bitch.

i would post pics, but they're on my other pc. i'll try and get them, g/l with the car
