Our local track is only 1/8th mile but managed a 7.36 @96 with a 1.63 60ft. It was doing the hesitation between shifts thing so I want to address that cause I know I'm losing time there, I wonder who would be the most helpful from a distance? Pretty happy though for a start, just gets better from here!

I'm guessing that should be around a 11.30/11.40 @ 120/119? Anyone else run similar 1/8th mile times to back that up?

1/8 mile is kinda like kissing your sister, lol.

luckily both we have here locally are 1/4 mile, although not the best tracks

I hear that, moved here 3 years ago, was a regular at Orlando speedworld but they just opened a 1/8th mile track here a year ago (Beacon Dragway) Not used to 1/8th mile stuff but it's better than nothing and it's only 15 minutes away. Bowling Green is about 2 hours away so that's a little road trip to get my 1/4 mile blues fixed so a road trip will have to be planned!

Are you posting about the car in your sig? If so that's pretty lazy for a FI car with a converter.

I went 7.20 in the 1/8th that same run was 11.27 in the 1/4.....I was bracket racing and on the brakes so mph was only 116...it had been in the 122-123 range....... probably would have been about a 11.20-11.22 pass if I wasn't on the brakes

Yes it is the car in my signature, I just bought the car with all the mods and now have more time in the car at the track than I do on the road. I'm sure the numbers could be better but like I said the car is nose diving between shifts like I've heard many times if someone tunes it that do not know A6's. Keep in mind the crazy 4.30 gears I was well into 4th gear in the 1/8th so that's 4 hesitations with a 7.36!

Yeah, something's off, I'm 7.6 at 90 mph 1/8th on a mild tune only car. Way too much gear, as others are hinting at, I think, even for 1/8th mile.
