First Track Experience In The Cobra **IN CAR VIDEO**

Went to the track the first time in the Cobra since I bought it. Pretty happy with the runs, 1st run spun ... 2nd run was clean ... and 3rd run i missed 3rd because the clutch was stinking hot. I was running on 305 Nittos. Clutch is def going.

Well your first burnout you weren't even on the track lol. Then your second one you were still in the waterbox lol again. When you back up in it pull up until you're not in the water anymore. That way you don't sling water all up under your fenders to drip back on the tires.

Other than that you can drive that's for sure. Just need some practice. Get that launch down at watch those times trickle on down.

I want to run 11's. Too bad I have a convertible, I did make 456 / 484 though so with some DR's maybe I can. Doubt it though.

wow i just noticed you ONLY had 458rwhp/464tq!! It looked like a easy launch and drag radials was enough to get you in the 11s ! Thats awesome! I guess the next plans are a new clutch setup

I have similar mods as you and my vert weighed 4140 pounds with me in it (I weigh 230) when I ran at the Terminator Shootout last month at MIR.

I ran a best of 11.92 on Nitto DR's. I got my clutch hot in the burnout box on that pass and I missed 4th gear :fm:

My 1/8 mile was a 7.54 @ 94 MPH. with a 1.73 60'. It should have been a 11.6x something pass at around 120 MPH if I wouldn't have missed 4th gear.

next time dont lift and powershift that sucker. Watch the times drop. The car has a little hesitation on shifts. get her shifting like an auto. Driver mod FTW.
