Flowmaster Q

I just got the flowmaster catback for my 03 and thought i was getting the exact same setup that i had on my old 97 cobra. O/R h-pipe with flowmaster 40s. Well i now have the same setup on the 03 but its not near as loud as the old setup. Are they real different mufflers and thats why its not as loud? Also i saw some super 40 mufflers for cheap and was wondering if that would make it louder? Thanks

that may be what you have now. I looked at cat backs for my car and they now come w/ super 40's.

Thats what i was thinking. Maybe its just a little quieter inside now or something?! I know they're a little different engine and stuff but is there that much difference in the sound they make?

Just weld in some Super44's that will solve your dilemma.
